Rachel Murphy is deeply concerned about the experience that his five-pound Toto had last weekend. According to Rachel , a groomer allegedly taped Toto r's mouth shut after being bitten, resulting in the dog being bloody and distressed.
Rachel said, "My pup was clearly in distress. What I first thought was tape turned out not to be a muzzle. Toto r was clearly injured and his paws were red. His toenails, cut too closely to the paws likely caused him to bite.
Wow! My Dog mobile pet salon employed the groomer in question.
Rachel immediately took Toto to the veterinarian for urgent medical attention. He has accused Wow! My Dog of animal abuse, joining numerous others who have made similar allegations. San Jose initiated an investigation for possible animal abuse.
Rachel described the wounds he noticed, saying: "I noted injuries around the joints, the neck, as well as in the genital. The wounds were so here severe they caused bleeding."
Marianna De las Vegas, customer of Wow! My Dog posted a Yelp review detailing the way his pets were returned unwell or injured. One customer recorded a Snapchat video of a dog that appeared to be in pain. The groomer was said to have forced a napkin inside the dog's ears.

Wow! My Dog wants customers to also be aware of what groomer told them, as a person they had trusted with their pets. Rachel stated, "Juliann informed to me that the use of tape to close the mouth is acceptable and normal. He claims it is preferred to using a mute, which is harmful to dogs. He also stated that he personally applies this method to his own dog."
Gate News contacted Wow! My Dog, who answered the phone and handed it to a woman claiming that they were investigating allegations. She quickly responded that Wow! My Dog was a separate company when asked about it, and abruptly ended the call.
